Journalist and editor-in-chief of BelaPan Iryna Leushyna was sentenced to four years in prison. Here is what a former prisoner said about her:
“Irina is smart. She is a very balanced and solid person. She will be 58 in the fall, which is retirement age. And she will not work, she will be in the detachment. It will be a little easier for her. She is such a thin person, and working in a factory takes a lot of strength. Iryna asked a lot to watch the news and catch interesting things”.
