Valeryia Bayarovich was detained together with her journalist husband in March of this year, and later the couple was charged with active participation in rallies. The detention took place right in the entrance hall of their block. 3 years of restriction of freedom without referral to an open-type correctional institution (“home chemistry”). Valeria was released from custody in the courtroom.
On August 11, 2023 she was included in the list of Belarusian citizens, foreign citizens and stateless persons involved in extremist activities.
