Three years of imprisonment for the anti-war position of the mother of three children.
Belarusian Anastasija Padgajskaja is a mother of three small children. A criminal case against her was opened and she was found guilty of the fact that in October 2022 she several times had sent photos and screenshots to the Telegram channel “Real Belarus”, which is recognized as an extremist group by the Belarusian authorities.
According to human rights activists, Anastasija forwarded a screenshot from a parent’s chat where was a warning about military exercises near Baranavichy, a fragment of correspondence from a chat of test engineers with a reaction to the explosion on the Crimean bridge, as well as two photos with a janitor. Only one of her messages was published.
The court sentenced the woman to three years of so called “home chemistry”.
