Liudmila Khlusevich, a pensioner, was sentenced to two years of restricted freedom under home confinement (“chatniaja khimiya”) for one word written online. Liudmila has leukemia. The woman went through searches, 10 interrogations, a criminal investigation due to one case, and an accusation due to another one.
While awaiting trial, Liudmila wrote a note in case of her untimely death: “Who the victim is – that’s still a question. During the investigation, I began to weigh 40 kilograms.
The woman explained later: “I really want to live, but it is very hard for me morally, almost unbearable, so once I wrote such an immortal note”.
